Projects and Rants of a Programmer

Cutting Costs

Well, it was a fun year while it lasted. I have stopped using the paid web host because I realised I am paying a lot just to host just a blog, especially when my projects are on Google Code. The good old 110MB free web host has stayed trusty to me so far and it feels so nice to return to it, it is like returning home. However, I am still keeping my domain (leezh.net) as it is a nice thing to hold on to.

In addition, I have also decided to change the direction of my blog. Despite the tagline “Projects and Rants of a Programmer”, majority of my posts in the old site were only about my programming work. By posting more rants and less technical things, you get more intersting things. I mean, who other than some curious programmer really cares about things I do on my projects? I have a backup of my old posts, but I am not posting them because I want a clean, frest slate to start off.

So, in the next few weeks, you are going to get more intersting things to read soon, and I have to pay less.

Cheers,

Lee
